From the beginning, SIE has been in the production of metals and metal artifacts industry working for the most important clients in the steel chain, in Italy and abroad.
Arcelor Mittal, ILVA (Acciaierie d’Italia), Vallourec, Elval, Arvedi, SSAB, Salzgitter have chosen the company’s experience which has collaborated also with the main contractors in the field, like SMS Demag, Danieli, CMI, TMEIC, Nidec ASI.

It has taken care of the supply and the assembly of electro-instrumental and automation plants and more. Its field of action spreads to the supply of the electrical panels and the instrumental racks on: laminating installations, tube factories, blast furnaces, annealing ovens, coking plants, gas compression stations, water treatments, mining camps and medium and low voltage power distribution.

About a hundred workers have worked on the mechanical assembly associated to electrical works intervening on electrical plants with the supply of cable trays and wires, electro-instrumental plants and process instrumentation.

In most cases the interventions have been carried out with the turnkey formula, from the estimate and choosing each step of the plant solutions – in order to continue the planning of its parts of competence – the supply of the materials, the installation and the precommissioning and commissionig stages to the final tests.
In the Genoa’s factory there are the departments of technical and administrative competence and an electrical and mechanical factory that support the activities of installation with the method just in time.
